Cleaning & glaze

Once a year or at list two years' furs should be cleaned by a professional furrier to maintain their luster and preserve the oils in the skins.

Unlike cloth, which is cleaned by immersion, fur is cleaned by a gentle tumbling process with special cleaning solutions. The garment is then glazed to bring out the sheen and make it soft and supple. Never attempt to clean a fur garment at home or use a commercial dry cleaner or solvent. These solvents and processes may leave the fur flat and lifeless. This process must be done in order to protect and restore the natural luster of your fur.
